Staples has always been known as an office supplies store. They want the world to know they also print signs. What better way to announce it than a music video featuring one of the most iconic songs of the 90s - I Saw the Sign. To ensure this is an instant hit, we teamed up with the king of 90’s music videos, Director Joseph Kahn.

Inspired by the high quality Adidas Terrex products themselves, we launched a campaign called Made for Any Terrain.

We want to let the world know that the adidas outdoor line can withstand the harshest elements.

To convey this, the goal is to create a linkage between the Terrex brand and the great outdoors. Using the Terrex fabric, outdoor terrains were brought to life through a retail activation, photography, and OOH displays. When people see the Adidas Terrex, they will also see the many outdoor terrains it was made for.

Most hybrid cars sell to left-leaning liberals. For the launch of Kia Niro, a new compact utility hybrid, we spoke to a simple, unifying truth. It’s hard to be an eco-warrior.  This truth, with a little help from the very approachable comedic star Melissa McCarthy, resonated with America.

In the series of online videos, you will get a glimpse of Melissa traversing the globe as an eco-warrior. Each spot will highlight one of the many features of the car.

A series of 3 second films that lived across Audi’s social channels. Created to feel less like an ad campaign, and more like the type of content we're already consuming. Which means short, tailor-made for mobile with a unique blend of design, art and internet-yness.

Each asset highlighted the Q3 and it's new features in a unique way, allowing our audience to learn something new from each one. As the series rolled out we adjusted our content in real time to highlight the assets that were fan favourites. One breakout hit, deemed the “Audicorn” was even turned into a live-action Halloween experience.

It's been a long 1,700 years for Santa. Tired, burnt out, and looking for a change, he finds inspiration in the form of the Audi RS 5 Sportback.

In our short film directed by Craig Gillespie (I,Tonya, Lars and the Real Girl), Santa re-evaluates his life over the past two millennia. Inspired by the new RS 5 Sportback, Santa undergoes a year-long reinvention. He changes his wardrobe, his hair, his jolly bowl full of jelly. And while the hard work is its own reward, Mrs. Claus and the elves have a little surprise in store for him, too.

To promote the Ultra Beasts debut in Pokémon GO we created an immersive multimedia campaign that culminated in a real world event where Pokémon Go players got to battle and catch the Ultra Beasts at the Ovation Center in Hollywood and the Riverside Terrace in the UK.

"Test Drive to the Unknown" challenged Amazon Go shoppers to exchange their time for a test drive in an Audi A6, but they didn’t just go for a spin around the block. They went to a private concerto. To a custom suit fitting. They even went to Germany. And it all took place behind the wheel of the A6, proving that time spent with Audi, is time well spent.

The iconic Monopoly Top Hat is used to symbolize membership in the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB — a Club where becoming a millionaire is easier than ever. This is the first time that all Lottery jurisdictions have opted to run one national campaign as opposed to local marketing efforts for a specific game, resulting in the biggest payout, ever.

Audi and Marvel Studios have been partners ever since Tony Stark drove the R8 in the first Iron Man. Flash forward ten years and 21 films later and the partnership is stronger than ever. We created two short films that tied into the blockbuster films Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Leading into Avengers: Endgame, we bring the newest hero, Captain Marvel, up to speed on everything she's missed since leaving Earth in the 1990s - including electric cars.

And following the events of Endgame, we find Peter Parker and his best friend Ned trying to get back to normal life by entering the school science fair.

On his legendary quest, Jack travels all over the world to find the best ingredients and recipes. Sometimes, he finds himself in a more familiar place, home. Jack pays a visit to his grandma and gets inspired to create the Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club Sandwich. 

And since Jack is busy sharing his Grandma's recipe with the world, his Grandma is busy doing some sharing of her own. To push the campaign even further, an Instagram account was created by Jack's very own grandma. She was not shy about sharing some of Jack's most embarrassing and sweet moments. 

For the launch of the Adidas Pureboost DPR’s, we encouraged runners to explore deeper (DPR) within the city by creating checkpoints throughout Shanghai. These checkpoints are spread around the city and served as new running routes for street runners. Each checkpoint is created by local street artists.

Utilizing QQ’s first ever AR activation, we allowed runners to scan each checkpoint for the chance of winning Adidas products. The more they explore and scan, the better the chances and prizes.

In this campaign, we highlight California Lottery's first Scratchers game that pays $20,000 a month for 25 years. This calls for a celebration just as long.

The Kia Forte is fully decked out in tech. So we created a series of Facebook-based games to help highlight all the different tech features. We ask players to prove that they're worthy of the Forte by testing out their skills on the webcam, the mic, the smartphone, the mouse, and the keyboard.

The Details:

Five games - Type-Wondo, Gymnas-Clicks, 100m Headles, Sla-La-La-Lom, and Gy-Row-Scope - require the player to use different devices, each highlighting a different feature of the Forte. For example, Sla-La-La-Lom requires players to activate their mic and use their voice to steer their way down a ski slope, and highlights the car's voice-controlled navigation system. In Gy-Row-Scope, players sync their smartphones to their computers in order to row their way down a river, promoting the Forte's ability to sync to your phone to stream music. Players' scores are displayed on aleaderboard, and three players a week can win tech prizes, including an Xbox Kinect, Go-Pro Camera, Nike Fuel Band and Beats by Dre headphones.

To convey the concept of these two worlds, you will see a Chinese celebrity, Eddie Peng, who will be using his creativity and the heat to outsmart the Paparazzi. He embraces the sun as part of his escape, while the paparazzi are limited by the shade.

That meant that the famously satirical, quintessentially Gen X spokesman for the brand had to go on a quest of his own. He ditched his suit, got on a motorcycle and unleashed his inner foodie. Like a true legend, everything he did was legendary. Big burgers. Bigger news. Biggest coupon in history. Taking an old icon on a new adventure.

In this Kia campaign, basketball star, Blake Griffin uses his comedic charm to ascend to new heights, and gives us a glimpse into this dream world where only the most effortlessly cool competitors - and car drivers - reside. 

VIZIO has launched their 4K Ultra HD TV series. The captivating picture quality will mesmerize all viewers, despite complete chaos happening in the surroundings. 

To further highlight the vivid picture quality of this amazing TV, a print campaign was also launched to show how real they are.

Who care’s about baseball in March? Well, when the world title is on the line, players will play like it’s October. The biggest players will go head-to-head on the world’s biggest stage. Teaming up with Elastic Pictures to make a hype video, but with very limited baseball footage; we ended up with a home run.

California Lottery launched a Scratchers game inspired by the popular and iconic show, Wheel of Fortune. This game extends that idea of "spinning" and allows people to keep their spin going as long as they can.  

Welcome to a world of possibilities

During the pandemic, we all had to get a little creative when it comes to creating viable work spaces at home. With Staples Connect, they specialize in maximizing the fullest potential for any home. In this spot, we worked with an amazing crew to create a transformation right before our eyes. (It was all shot practically!)

In the streets of San Francisco, bus shelters were taken over and transformed into cash-grabbing booths. When people walked by, it triggered a sensor and caused the money to fly into the air. People were able to interact with the booths and experience the feeling of winning.

NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) is a company dedicated to protecting children from abduction, abuse, and exploitation. They launched a program called Take It Down, which is a free service that helps exploited victims remove sexually explicit images or videos.

To help amplify this important program, a video was created to show how you can’t rewind to fix your problems, but there is hope in moving forward.

The Transformers are invading Southern California and opening a new ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. In order to generate buzz, we did a take-over on the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles by tearing up the side of the building. Sure enough, tourists, news stations and even crazy prophets took notice.

The Minions are coming to Hollywood and they are making quite the entrance. You'll see these little minions causing mischief and taking over the whole theme park. A family finds themselves in the middle of all the excitement.

I got the chance to collaborate with the Illumination Animation Studio to come up with this fun spot. 

The freshest produce requires everyone working in perfect harmony. Almost like a beautifully choreographed dance.

We all know the airport sucks. Especially when you need to apply for TSA Precheck. Staples is now offering a much stress-free solution. Utilizing the iconic flight safety cards, we created a campaign to help spread this important travel announcement.

Albertsons launched a rewards program that feeds joy as much as it feeds us. Putting a new twist in old sayings, a series of online videos were created to spread awareness, and also to spread joy.

Meatable is a revolutionary company that pioneered a new and natural way to produce pork without harming any animal. Pigs everywhere can rejoice, and rally behind such a break-through.
